10/6/23 Real Estate Photos of the Week

Welcome to the October 6th #StudioVosPOTW! Calling all entomologists: how many insects do you need to make money from your rental properties? Ten-ants! Even the entomophobiacs ought to appreciate that one 🐜🔍.

Today's real estate photo theme is COLORS! Perhaps the greatest joy found in homeownership is customizing your space to your taste. Whatever your style, coming back after a long day of work (from home) needs to help you find peace. Indeed, the phrase "A man's home is his castle" dates all the way back to 1581! Now, let's check out 6114 Winter Oak St (Karla Zermeno, RE/MAX Inner Loop) in Ryan Acres of Pearland and 420 County Rd 123 (Jonathan McNabb, Nest Ahead) in Wharton.

#1-5 in Pearland | 4 bedrooms sitting on a 5,998 square foot lot. Ryan Acres has been known since the 60's for reasonably priced midsize homes (hint hint home seekers).

#2 Any Pokemon fans in the house? As a youngin, you were either team red or blue. Whichever faction you picked determined how the rest of your elementary school days played out. This person chose both 🤓💡🧠.

#3 We've all heard of an accent wall -- but this family wanted a double feature! What do you think of this color scheme?

#4 Not every "wild" choice in your home needs to center around color. Sometimes expressing yourself is about decor. Who didn't watch Friends and think floor to ceiling wall ornamentation is exactly your style?

#5 Never have I ever... seen this color. A few minutes diving down the Google rabbit hole led me to believe this is actually a pre-painted Washington Vessel Blue from Home Depot!

#6-9 in Wharton | 4 bedrooms smack dab on an 87,120 square foot acreage can be found merely 60 miles southwest of Houston. Theoretically, that's only an hour drive aka normal commuting for most Houstonians. Is the distance worth the time?

|Bonus| Have drone will record (a 1st class image with plotting lines).

#7 Have you ever been graced with modern shiplap walls and farmhouse cabinets? Then maybe you're from Texas!

#8 Once again, why limit your home's personality to just wall paint? Do you hunt? Then hang every trophy on the wall! Are you a man's man? Prove it by adorning your space exclusively in brown leather and woodgrain!

#9 At the end of the day, you are the only person responsible for your own happiness. Are you choosing to worry about picking the best wall paint color for resale value; or stress if the new owners want chickens; or forgo making nail sized holes to hang your collection of bleached deer skulls; OR are you busy building your own castle?

Thanks for making it to the end
