6/30/23 Real Estate Photos of the Week

Welcome to the June 30th #StudioVosPOTW! Remember when Ryan Gosling played a real estate scion in All Good Things? His best pick-up line was "Hey Girl, is your name mortgage? Because you've got my interest." Raise you hand 🖐 if you get that joke.

Today's real estate pictures are brought to us from 1911 Huntington Ln in Huntington Oaks (Melissa Moody, Keller Williams Premier Realty) and 10107 Moorberry Ln in Timber Oaks (Sally Collier, KW Premier). While these aren't the most expensive Houston homes sold in the past 30 days, this writer has always been told it's not the size of the home but how we use it.

#1-6 in Huntington Oaks | 5 bedrooms with all the fixins, fit into ~6,000 square feet of luxury! If you say, "Alexa, play babbling brook sounds" then you can picture the backyard creek just a little bit easier.

|Bonus| Don't worry -- we didn't forget about the back! It's not just the current heatwave making that pool look so inviting.

#2 Once again, I've never been a teenage girl, but you don't need that experience to clearly see this is the ideal runway to meet your prom date at the bottom of. Where have you seen this chandelier before? Trick question, you haven't! It's custom 😉

#3 This combination of French doors and dark oak makes this space soooo inviting. The massive mirror adds a perfect touch of additional light and opulence. Don't worry about the fireplace heat, we use virtual magic to create them so our photographers don't catch fever.

#4 Sign me up for work from home! Gratuitous access to the patio and pool may make staying on task a wee hard, though. Oh, that and the bed.

#5 Green marble reached it's vogue height in the 90s, but when integrated with the recessed lighting and oversized crown moulding, this bathroom is as stylish as ever. The nature scene etched directly onto the shower glass is icing on the cake.

#6 Naturally, the best part of owning acreage like this (other than the apple and peach trees) is the physical space between neighbors. There are few luxuries in Houston greater than living without traffic, construction, and other "ambient" sounds.

#7-12 in Timber Oaks | Just in time for Independence Day. Try to tell me this home doesn't scream "traditional American middle class dream" to you. That's right -- you can't! Complete with classic red brick/white mortar, front yard tire swing, a backyard house, and old glory waving in the winds.

#8 Similar to every other breathing human in the world (including babies) I'm a sucker for white walls and warm tones. Something about this amalgamation makes spaces feel so inviting.

#9 Once again, it's like someone turned up the saturation and warmth setting on their phone's photo editing software -- except in real life! The physical lighting crafted with black iron truly add the finishing touches.

#10 Who would've guessed that modern stainless steel compliments these color schemes so beautifully?! I suppose the designers did... Now our ogling eyes get to receive all the benefits.

#11 Here in the bathroom we're taking a short design break from the renovated rustic vibe found in the rest of the house. The modern glass shower and light fixtures are grounded by the updated farmhouse sink housing and a countertop that neatly blends in with the walls.

#12 If I could describe with a single picture what my ideal AirBnb bedroom would look like after a long day of hiking and all I wanted to do was shower then read a book before nighty night time -- this would be it. Clean, bright, minimalist, and every detail in its place.

Thanks for making it to the end
